Un château royal de la Renaissance française, une femme célèbre, un roi de France, un architecte grand maître de l’art de bâtir. Voici le décor très avant-gardiste de la ville d’Anet en Eure-et-Loir.
Anet et son château 1548-1553. Cinq années d’existence, très peu pour l’époque et à la vue de tous les métiers d’art, ces talents réunis autour de ce projet. Le chef d’orchestre de ce chef d’œuvre étant Philibert de l’Orme 1514-1570, architecte du roi Henri II, 1519-1559. Un roi bâtisseur, époux de Catherine de Médicis. Anet et son tout nouveau Centre d’interprétation de la Renaissance. Tous deux, le château et le Centre se trouvant face à face, sont dorénavant indissociables. Revoir ou découvrir ce petit joyau, avec toutes les cartes en mains, pour comprendre, saisir, imaginer ce qu’était Anet durant cette Renaissance française. Voyage en Eure-et-Loir, là où le roi Henri II avec ou sans sa cour, venait rendre visite à Diane de Poitiers...
A royal castle from the French Renaissance, a famous woman, a king of France, and a master architect of the art of the built environment. This is the very Avant Garde decor of the town of Anet in Eure-et-Loir.
Anet and its chateau, 1548-1553. The construction took 5 years, very few for the era and considering all the trades and talent brought together on this project. The maestro for this masterpiece was Philibert de l'Orme, 1514-1570, architect to King Henri II, 1519-1559. Henri II was a builder king and husband of Catherine de Medicis. Anet and its brand-new Renaissance Interpretive Centre. The chateau and Centre, sitting opposite each other, are now inseparable. Revisit or discover this little gem, with all the maps at hand, to understand, grasp, and imagine what Anet was like during the French Renaissance. Travel through the Eure-et-Loir, where King Henri II came, with or without his court, to visit Diane of Poitiers...
